UPS SurePost packages will no longer be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. Instead, these packages will be handled exclusively by UPS drivers.
This change impacts customers who have post office boxes, as well as those with addresses on Army posts or Navy fleets. The Postal Service is the only carrier authorized to deliver to these locations.UPS shippers are scrambling to service their customers with PO Boxes, APO / FPO / DPO and now the WildFires impact in Southern California,
If you do not have a valid street address, we recommend that you have your packages sent to a UPS store. Any package addressed to a P.O. Box or military address and shipped through UPS will be refused and returned to the sender. UPS “My Choice” option
